Every S68 piece is cut from one knit. We named it after the way it feels in your hand — like cold, just-cultured butter, before you spread it. Four-way stretch. Squat-proof. Sweat-wicking. The kind of softness you don't second-guess in class.
Cut in Buttersoft
Cool butter on a slow morning. Velvet that's been pressed twice. The inside of a wave when you reach in. We pull a sample from the studio almost daily — if it doesn't pass the touch test we send the run back.
Mat-Pilates planks. Side bends with full breath. Sun salutations on the lake at 8:30 AM. The Sunday class where you don't think about your top. Buttersoft moves with you and stays where you put it.
A second piece in the same knit — the Wrap Top over a Glow Set, the Twist Top under the Winter long-sleeve. Pieces in Buttersoft layer on each other without bulk because the fabric is the shared language.
We tested every Buttersoft piece through 60 launderings before naming the knit. Treat the fabric well and it will hold its first shape for a long, slow time.
We make Buttersoft pieces in two atelier runs a year, in a small workshop outside Porto where the lockstitch machines are older than most of the women who wear them. Pattern-cut in Geneva, sewn in Portugal, photographed back at Letten or Mo Luzern.
Every piece in the Spring Edit is cut from this knit. Pick the silhouette — the fabric stays the same.
